About The Homie House
A safe place to grow, heal, and belong.
Our Mission
The Homie House exists to transform the lives of young people in Lincoln County by supporting their academic, emotional, and social growth. We believe every youth deserves the tools, encouragement, and opportunities to thrive.
Why We’re Here
Many local youth face real challenges at home, in school, or in their communities. At The Homie House, we step in with highly personalized, wrap-around support. Through long-term mentoring and coaching, we provide consistency, encouragement, and opportunities that can change the course of a young person’s life. Our programs run year-round and often span many years, giving youth the stability and guidance they need to grow into confident leaders.
What We Do
We combine academics, mentorship, and leadership training to help youth build strong foundations and a clear vision for their future.
Building Scholars: One-on-one tutoring, academic coaching, and hands-on learning experiences that make education meaningful and inspiring.
Community and Athletics: Encouragement to join school sports and extracurriculars to build teamwork, character, and lifelong wellness.
Nurturing Leaders: Service projects, leadership roles, and peer mentoring opportunities that give youth a voice and real responsibility.
Future Focus: Guidance that helps youth set long-term goals for high school, college, and career, along with the practical steps to reach them.
Who We Serve
The Homie House is open to youth from across Lincoln County. Our students are diverse: honor students, athletes, artists, and more, but all share strong character and commitment. We do not just work with them for a semester or a school year. Most stay connected for eight years or longer, often through college or into their first jobs. We are here for the long haul, walking alongside them as they grow.
Our Impact
Through mentorship, academics, leadership opportunities, and community involvement, The Homie House gives youth the chance to rise above obstacles and reach their full potential. By the time they graduate, our students have stronger academics, meaningful service experience, and the confidence to step into leadership roles in their schools, families, and communities.
